Project Overview:

Ryans Bus needed a website that presents their fleet, various transport services (bus/coach hire, charters, airport transfers, special events), builds trust through heritage & safety credentials, and makes it easy for different user types (schools, corporates, private groups) to get quotes or book services. The site also communicates their history, reliability, and local ties, while emphasizing professionalism, safety, and comfort.

Role:

  • Defined content architecture: sections such as Home, Bus Hire / Fleet, About Us / History, Contact Us, Get a Quote / Enquiry.
  • Designed interface with imagery and copy that reinforce the long heritage (“Carrying the Community Since 1947”), fleet modernity, safety, and comfort.
  • Created “Bus Hire” page with a clear presentation of fleet sizes, seating capacities (21, 36, 51, 57 seats) and features, plus a form for quote/enquiry.
  • Ensured “History / Heritage” content is present, showing credibility and local roots.
  • Made contact and location information highly accessible, with phone, email, address, operating hours etc.
  • Incorporated safety / compliance information (seat belts, licensed drivers, fleet maintenance etc.) as key trust-signals.
  • Responsive design so content is usable across devices (desktop / mobile), and easy navigation for different user types (corporate, private, school groups).

Key Features:

  • Fleet / Bus Hire Page: Details of coach sizes / capacities, comfort features, ideal use cases.
  • Quote / Enquiry Form: On the Bus Hire page to allow users to request pricing / dates.
  • “About / History” Section: Emphasis on longstanding service, community involvement, the transition of route contracts etc.
  • Contact Page: Address, phone, email, hours.
  • Safety & Compliance Info**: Seat-belts, accredited operations, insurance, experienced/licenced drivers.
  • Multiple Service Types: Private/charter hire, airport transfers, tours & excursions, school groups etc.

Outcome:

  • The site gives Ryans Bus Lines a polished, trustworthy web presence that reflects their long history while speaking to modern expectations (safety, comfort, reliable service).
  • Potential clients can easily see what fleet is available, pick an appropriate size, and initiate enquiries.
  • The history content helps differentiate from newer competitors by highlighting legacy and community service.
  • The accessible contact and quote workflows help convert interest into bookings.
  • Overall, the website positions Ryans well for both private & institutional clients (schools, corporates) looking for transport solutions.
